During the Embassy Ka’anapali acquisition, The Delaney Group was responsible for the acquisition to purchase 100 percent of capital stock of Hawaii-based Marc Hotels & Resorts Inc.

Marc managed 22 hotels and resort condominiums in the Islands. The total price, which does not include actual hotels, was $6 million. The deal closed on October 10, 2017. Delaney facilitated the management agreements and transition for Marc Resorts to take over management of the Embassy Suites in Ka’anapali, in addition to the 219-unit Embassy Suites Resort at Poipu Point, Kauai. Subsequent to this acquisition, Delaney acquired Marc Hotels & Resorts from Sunterra Corporation out of bankruptcy.
